Stiles Field Farewell Photo Gallery

On May 12, 2007, Adelphi marked the end of an era as it bid farewell to Stiles Field before it was taken off line to make way for the new Outdoor Sports Complex. The new all-weather field and outdoor stadium will include lighting to allow for night games and practices. The new complex is slated to open in fall 2008.

Stiles field, named after former Trustee/Chairmen James E. Stiles, was originally dedicated on May 12, 1956 and played host to numerous NCAA Division I and II tournaments. In addition to NCAA and ECAC contests, Stiles Field also served as the site of the 1994 World Cup Team Preparation Camp for the Greek National Team.
