Garden City, N.Y. - Adelphi University freshman Bree Popham (Crestview Hills, KY) has been named Northeast-10 (NE-10) Rookie of The Week as announced by the conference office on October 5. This is the first honor for Popham and the third for the program this season.

Popham had 29 digs in two matches on the weekend, averaging 5.80 digs per game on the weekend. Popham had 18 digs in Adelphi's 3-0 win over St. Anselm and followed that up with 11 in the Panthers 3-1 win at Saint Michael's. She also chipped in four set assists on the weekend, helping the Panthers remain perfect in Northeast-10 play.

Adelphi returns to action on Wednesday, October 7 when they play host to Pace University at 7:00 pm.
