Garden City, N.Y. - Adelphi University junior Hilary Pavels (North Woodmere) has been named Northeast-10 (NE-10) Player of The Week as announced by the conference office on September 28. This is the first honor for Pavels and the second for the program this season.

Pavels helped the Panthers to a perfect 4-0 week, including a 3-0 conference mark, posting 3.75 kills per game and 3.25 digs per game as well. In all, Pavels had 45 kills and 49 digs to go along with four service aces, seven total blocks and nine assists.

Adelphi returns to action on Friday, October 2 when they travel to Manchester, New Hampshire for a 7:30 pm meeting with Saint Anselm.
