Bridgeport, Conn. - Adelphi fell to Bridgeport on Thursday by a score of 3-0. With the loss the Panthers drop to 1-5 on the year, while Bridgeport improves to 6-5 overall. Adelphi kept all three games close dropping the first and second games by a score of 30-26. The Panthers gave a strong effort in the third game but Bridgeport prevailed again, by a score of 30-27.

Rachael Cornick led the Panthers with 11 kills and 13 digs; it was her second double-double on the year. Adelphi returns to action this Saturday, September 27th when St. Rose comes to Woodruff Hall for a 1 pm match-up.
