Aniboli and Sussman Earn ECC Weekly Honors

Garden City, N.Y. - Adelphi University senior Amanda Aniboli (West Islip, N.Y.) was named East Coast Conference women's tennis Player of the Week, while freshman Jamie Sussman (Glastonbury, CT) picked up Rookie of the Week honors as announced by the conference office on September 17. This is the first award for both athletes this season.

Aniboli picked up a 6-1, 6-2 win over Eleni Speyer of Dowling to help the Panthers capture their first win of the season, 5-4. Sussman collected her first win of the season, defeating Dowling's fifth flight singles player 6-2, 1-6, 6-4.

The Panthers return to action on September 17 when they host Concordia College in an East Coast Conferece match-up at 3:00 pm.
