Kutztown, PA - The Adelphi women's tennis team traveled to Kutztown, Pennsylvania to take on nationally ranked Kutztown University in a non-conference match. Adelphi collected two singles victories but dropped all three doubles matches, falling, 7-2, to the Golden Bears.

Claudia Nunez (Miami Beach, Florida) opened singles play with a hard fought win. Nunez fell behind early, dropping the first game 6-0, but stormed back to take the next two game 6-4 to win the match. Mary Hopkins (Long Beach, N.Y.) also won her match at sixth flight singles 8-5.

With the loss Adelphi's overall record falls even at 7-7.
