Bronxville, N.Y. - The Adelphi women's tennis team opened up their spring 2006 season with a trip to Bronxville, New York to take on Concordia College. The Clippers out lasted Adelphi, collecting a 6-3 win. With the loss, the Panthers open their spring season 0-1.

Concordia won first and second flight doubles, 8-2, but the Panthers battled back to take the third flight, 9-8 (7-4). However, Adelphi's struggles continued as Claudia Nunez (Miami Beach, FL) and Leah Moore were the only Panthers able to come up with victories.

Adelphi is hoping that the momentum from their second place conference finish in the fall will carry them through their remaining spring schedule.
