Garden City, N.Y. - The Adelphi University Softball Team will host open tryouts on Tuesday, September 2, from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. on Janet L. Ficke Field, located behind New Hall.

The Panthers kick off their Fall Schedule on September 20, when they play host to Post University and Caldwell College. On October 11, Adelphi hosts Molloy College and Pace University for the Janet L. Ficke Invite.

In 2008, Adelphi finished the season with a 41-21 overall record, earning its third straight trip to the NCAA Regional Tournament.
