Garden City, N.Y. - Adelphi junior Catherine Wyndham (Lynbrook, N.Y.) and freshman Erin Klimkowski (Westbury, N.Y.) each received National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-Northeast Region honors as announced today. Wyndham received first-team honors for the second year in a row, while Klimkowski was a second-team selection.

Wyndham, a first-team all-conference performer, was the anchor of an Adelphi defense that posted eight shut outs and allowed just 0.68 goals per game. Wyndham also appeared in and started all 17 games for Adelphi, scoring one goal and adding two assists.

Klimkowski, the 2005 NYCAC Rookie of The Year, had a tremendous freshman campaign. Klimkowski led the Panthers in almost every major offensive category, posting a team-high 13 goals and a team leading 27 points, while making 16 starts.

The Panthers finished the season with a record of 10-5-2, the team's 10th consecutive season with 10 or more wins. Adelphi also earned their fourth straight berth into the NCAA Division II Tournament, falling in the first round to host and top-seed West Chester, 2-0.
