Garden City, N.Y. - Sophomore Dorothy Connolly was selected as the Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week as announced this afternoon. This is the first conference nod for the Panthers this season.

She tallied four of her season-high nine saves late in the second half to force overtime against Franklin Pierce. She posted two key saves in the second overtime to preserve the 1-1 tie.

Connolly is currently ranked sixth in the league in goals against average (0.85) and fourth in shut outs (0.46).

Adelphi (8-4-2, 6-4-2 NE-10) returns to action on Tuesday, October 20, as they host the University of New Haven at 6:00 p.m.
