Garden City, N.Y. - Freshman goalkeeper Dorothy Connolly has been named the East Coast Conference Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week as announced yesterday afternoon.

Connolly made 11 stops in her collegiate debut against the University of New Haven, with eight of the 11 coming in the second half to preserve a 2-1 win. Against Bentley she was credited with the 4-0 shutout, including one save. On the week, she posted a 0.GAA and a .923 save percentage.

The Panthers return to action Thursday, September 4, as they travel to Philadelphia University.
