Josefa Pace returns to her alma mater after a three year hiatus to assist the women's soccer team as a member of the coaching staff. She begins her second year with the Panthers.

Pace was a defender on the Panther roster from 2001-04. During that time, Adelphi made three NCAA appearances, earning Northeast Regional titles in 2002 and 2003 and advancing to the NCAA Championships in 2004, finishing second in the nation.

She is a four-time All-ECC selection, three as a first-team pick, and was a two-time Second-Team All-Northeast Region selection. Pace was also named to the 2004 second-team CoSida Academic All-District team for her academic excellence and was a three-time ECC All-Academic Team honoree.

Pace graduated in 2005 with a theater and English degree with a minor in Italian. She obtained her Masters in English/Creative Writing from Queens College in 2006. She is currently working on post-graduate work at Hofstra University. In addition she is an adjunct professor at Adelphi (University College) and Hofstra (School of University Studies) where she teaches English and writing courses.
