Honors & Awards: NYCAC All-Academic Team (2002, 2003) Worth Noting: Two-sport athlete, making 2004, 2005 and 2006 NCAA appearances in women's lacrosse. 2005: Started 16 games while appearing in 17...tied for fourth on team in assists with two...recorded three points against St. Thomas Aquinas (1G, 1A) (10/26). 2004: Made nine starts in 18 appearances...had two assists against Concordia (11/1). 2003: Appeared in eight games, scoring one goal against Lock Haven (9/27). 2002: Saw action in 10 games...scored two goals in 9-1 win over Mercy College (10/26). At Herricks High School: Four-year letterwinner in soccer and lacrosse...two-year soccer captain and one year captain for lacrosse...earned all-conference honors in both soccer and lacrosse...a member of the soccer team at Empire State Games, earning a silver in 2000 and a bronze in 2001...also lettered in wrestling, earning USGWA second place all-state...as a senior, voted Herricks Female Athlete of the Year. Personal: Daughter of Cathy and Gino Marra...a physical education major...when not playing soccer, enjoys lacrosse and dancing. |
