Denise Auer continues her stellar tenure at Adelphi University, but this time its working with the soccer coaching staff. Auer completed her four-year career in 2008 after helping the Panthers to three NCAA Tournament apperances including a National Championship runner-up in 2004. This year marks her second year with the team as a coach.

Named a first-team Daktronics Inc. All-Northeast Region Selection in 2007, Auer was also a three-time All-ECC selection, twice named to the first-team. She was also recognized for her academic excellence with the 2007 ECC Women's Soccer Scholar Athlete of the Year award as well as being recognized by CoSida as a first-team Academic All-District honoree (2006).

Auer graduated in 2008 with a degree in speech pathology and is currently pursing her masters in the same major. She resides in Holbrook, New York.
