Women's Soccer Achieve Top-25 Ranking in Seven NCAA Categories

The Adelphi University women's soccer team closed out the 2008 fall season with a record of 14-4-1, and placed among the top-25 in the nation in five categories. Freshman Dorothy Connolly finished among the top-15 in the country in two individual categories as well. [+]

The men were one of 14 programs with a team gpa of 3.30 or higher.

Both Men and Women's Soccer Earn NSCAA Team Academic Honors

For the 11th time in 12 years, both the men and women's soccer programs have been recognized by the National Soccer Coaches Association of American (NSCAA) for its team academic excellence. A total of 373 NCAA and NAIA soccer programs (109 men, 264 women) posted a team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the Team Academic Award for 2007-08. [+]
