Garden City, N.Y. - The Adelphi University women's lacrosse team saw any hope of an NCAA bid end with a 17-8 loss to rival C.W.Post on Saturday at Stiles Field.

Katherine Hock led Adelphi with four goals. Jen Garone added two goals and Catherine Perez and Karen Sulinski chipped in one goal apiece.

The Panthers never led as the Pioneers jumped out to an early first half lead. Adelphi finishes the 2002 season with an 11-4 overall record in only their second year as a varsity sport. Last season Adelphi went 4-6.
