Adelphi University sophomore goalkeeper Lucia Vigliotti (Westbury, N.Y.) has been named Northeast-10 Conference Goalkeeper of the Week and ECAC Defensive Player of the Week, it was announced Monday. This is the second time Vigliotti has received these honors this season.

In a 1-0 week for the Panthers, Vigliotti posted her fifth shutout of the season, stopping 10 shots in a 1-0 overtime win over Franklin Pierce University. The sophomore goalie set aside three shots in overtime to preserve the win.

The Panthers return to action on Tuesday, October 13 when they play host to Southern Connecticut State University at 7:00 pm on Competition Field.
