Vigliotti Named Northeast-10 Goalkeeper And ECAC Defensive Player of the Week

Adelphi University sophomore Lucia Vigliotti (Westbury, N.Y.) was named Northeast-10 Conference Goalkeeper of the Week, while also being named ECAC Defensive Player of the Week as well. This is the program's first NE-10 and ECAC honor of the season.

Vigliotti led Adelphi to a 3-0 week, posting two shutouts. The first shutout came against cross-town rival C.W. Post, 1-0, where she recorded five saves. In a 4-0 win over Saint Anselm she stopped the only shot she faced, while setting aside two shots in a 4-1 win over Saint Michael's.

Vigliotti and the Panthers return to action on Wednesday, September 30 when they travel to take on league-foe Southern Connecticut State University for a 4:00 pm start.
