Garden City, N.Y. - The Adelphi University Field Hockey team will host a clinic on Sunday, October 5 from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. The event, which will take place on Competition Field in the Outdoor Sports Complex, is open to all 5th-8th grade players and coaches in the Nassau/Suffolk area.

"We want to give back to the field hockey community and to let them know that Adelphi is here again," said head coach Gloria O'Connor.

Members of the Adelphi team will be on hand to assist with the clinic. Alumni are invited and welcome to attend.

Field Hockey enjoyed an illustrious history on the Adelphi campus dating back to 1929 and returns to Garden City for the first time in 26 years. The Panthers will host Assumption College in their collegiate home contest this Saturday, September 6 at 2:00 p.m.
