At East Meadow High School: Played varsity field hockey and varsity badminton her junior and senior years...field hockey captain her senior year...All-Conference in both sports her senior year...member of the National Honor Society, Key Club, Junior Achievement Program, marching band, concert band, Battle of the Classes, Model Congress, homecoming committee, LIFHA and NYMSSA...recipient of the Who's Who in America Award, USAA National Physical Education Award, Parkway Elementary School Elementary PTA Scholarship, scholar diploma, Athletes Helping Athletes Award, National Honor Society Recognition Award and the President's Award.

Personal: Daughter of Michael and Karen Serif...has one younger brother, Jeffrey...majoring in physical education...enjoys sports, animals, music, spending time with friends and going to the beach.
