Coach O'Connor says, "Michelle is making the move to the left side of the field and doing very well with the transition. She should pick up a lot of deflections off the goalie's pads."

Honors and Awards: Division II National Academic Squad (2008)

2008: Played in three games getting the start in two.

At Massapequa High School: Played varsity field hockey for three years...Long Island Champions her junior year...All-County and offensive player of the year her senior year...on the high honor roll, National Honor Society, and S.A.D.D. Club.

Personal: Daughter of Joseph and Nancy Maurici...has two brothers, Matthew and Justin...enjoys playing field hockey...currently majoring in elementary education
