Garden City, N.Y. - The Adelphi University bowling team was picked to finish fifth in the Northeast Conference preseason poll, it was announced Wednesday. Fairleigh Dickinson is on top of the poll, earning six first place votes.

The Panthers are fresh off a third place finish at the Kutztown Fall Baker Invitational last weekend in Reading, Pennsylvania. Adelphi collected wins against Lincoln University and Long Island University, 883-658 and 828-743, respectively.

Adelphi returns to action on Friday when they travel to Elmwood Park, NJ to compete in the Fairleigh Dickinson University Nite Invite.
