Bowling Enters National Poll at #16

Garden City, N.Y. - The Adelphi women's bowling team has achieved their first national ranking in program history. The National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) voted the Panthers into a tie for 16th in the February poll as released by the national office.

Adelphi finished the team portion of their season last weekend at the ECAC Championships, placing fifth out of nine competing schools. In their first season of NCAA play the Panthers have compiled a record of 33-43 and are tied with Fayetteville State University at 16th in the poll.

Adelphi University will close out the season when Michelle Montgoris, Dianna Molenko, and Lisa Raymond attend the Northeast Women's Bowling Conference Singles Championships on Saturday, March 31, 2007 in Wallington, NJ.
