The Adelphi University bowling team has been ranked ninth in the National Tenpins Coaches Association (NTCA) National Poll for the month of March, it was announced Saturday.

The Panthers are coming off a sixth-place finish at the ECAC Championships this past weekend (March 6-7) in Howell, New Jersey. AU completed the weekend with a 5-4 record, going 3-2 on the final day and moving up to sixth-place after sitting in seventh after the first day.

Adelphi, who is currently 77-42, returns to action on March 12-14 when they travel to Smyrna, Tennessee to compete in the Vanderbilt University Music City Classic.
