Women's Bowling Opens 2006-07 Season At North East WCBT Event

Garden City, N.Y. - The Adelphi University bowling team opened their 2006-07 season in Wallington, New Jersey at a North East WCBT event. The Panthers finished the day with a record of 1-4 overall.

Adelphi picked up their lone win in the first game of the day, topping St. Francis College, 877-722. The Panthers faces St. Peter's College in game two (915-907), Sacred Heart University in game three (1015-867), New Jersey City University in game four (1053-849) and Fairleigh Dickinson University in game five (973-826) dropping all four games.

Dianna Molenko (Bellmore, N.Y.), Michelle Montgoris (Bethpage, N.Y.) and Lisa Raymond (Wappingers Falls, N.Y.) all totaled over 500 pins for the day. Molenko led the way with a score of 660, followed by Montgoris (605) and Raymond (514).

Adelphi returns to action on November 4 when they travel to Brooklyn, New York to compete in another North East WCBT event.
