Smyrna, TN - The Adelphi University bowling team traveled to Smyrna, Tennessee to compete in the Music City Classic hosted by Vanderbilt University. The Panthers posted a record of 3-3 on day one of the two day event and are currently 13th in the field of 21 teams. Adelphi has also posted a record of 64-64 on the season.

The Panthers started the day strong by defeating South Carolina State University 813-735 behind the efforts of Danielle Locurto (187) and Dianna Molenko (178). Adelphi faced Jackson State University in the second game, falling in the tenth frame, 804-826. Arkansas State University outpaced the Panthers 826-886 in Adelphi's third game of the day.

North Carolina A & T was rolled by the trio of Cristina Reale (206), Jennifer Ferraro (200), and Kristin Hayes (199) en route to a 914-650 victory in match four. Host Vanderbilt University dropped the Panthers 801-946 despite a solid 194 from Danielle Locurto. However Adelphi was able to rebound with a victory against Alabama A & M to close out the day. Heather McGee (210) and Dianna Molenko (206) led the Panther effort as Adelphi outscored AA&M 938-901.

Adelphi returns to action on Sunday, March 16 when they close out play in the Music City Classic.
