Garden City, N.Y. - The Adelphi University women's basketball team announces its promotional events for the 2007-08 season. Come out and cheer on the Panthers and support a good cause.

On Wednesday, December 5, Adelphi will host Concordia College at 5:30 p.m. Participate in the team's Toy Drive which will take place during the game. Bring a new toy to the game. All will be donated to children in need.

Saturday December 8th Pace University 3:00pm, Family Day
Lots of Fun, Presents and Give-aways!!

Saturday January 12th Queens College 5:30pm, Take A Kid To The Game Day/Girl Scout Night
Entering its 13th year, the Take A Kid to the Game (TAKG) program provides NCAA® member institutions a national grassroots program that is easily implemented at NCAA Football and men's and women's basketball games. This nationally-recognized program encourages adults to take children to collegiate athletic contests.

Wednesday January 16th Dowling College 7:30pm, Kitchen Soup Drive
The AU Panthers will collect any toiletries and canned food for those most in need.

Monday January 21st STAC 7:00pm, Martin Luther King Day
The team will honor an African-American that has made a contribution to Adelphi University

Wednesday January 30th NYIT 5:30pm, International Student Day
We are inviting all international students to our game with their flags, showing the diversity of cultures at Adelphi. All flags will be hang around the gym.

Wednesday February 13th Mercy College 5:30pm, Valentine's Day
Roses will be given out to all women prior to tip-off(while supplies last). Special half-time promotion

Saturday February 16th New Haven 5:30pm, Breast Cancer Day
Wear Pink to the game.

Wednesday February 27th Bridgeport 5:30pm, Book Drive
The AU Women's Basketball Team is collecting any books that would help children in need.

Saturday March 1st C.W Post 5:30pm, Senior and Alumni Day
Come to our last home game and say goodbye to our seniors. Thanking them for all their efforts and successes.
