White Plains, N.Y. - Senior forward Serita Lee was selected a to the All-Met Division II Women's College Basketball second team, as announced Thursday, April 9 by the National Invitation Tournament and the Met Basketball Writers Assn.

Jennifer DiChiara and Amanda Bartlett of Queens College were named All-Met Division II women's college basketball co-players of the year, while Tom Flahive of Queens was selected coach of the year.

Lee, named an East Coast Conference second-team selection earlier this season, averaged a double-double for the Panthers this season. She led the team with 10.5 rebounds per game and ranked second in points, averaging 12.8 per game. Lee shot 49.0 percent from the field and had a team best 60 steals.

Joining Lee on the second team were Adele Laskowski, Dominican; Whitney Murrer, C.W. Post; Christina Baxter, Mercy; Jasmine Minter, Nyack.

The All-Met awards will be presented Wednesday evening, April 15, at the Giants Stadium Club in East Rutherford, N.J.
