Hempstead, NY - In an exhibition, non-conference match-up against the Rams of Philadelphia University, Adelphi Men's Tennis was victorious, winning the match 7-2. The Panthers are now 1-1 in preseason play.

The match began with a Panther win in the number one double spot. Alex Molotsky (Calgary, Alberta Canada) and Thomasz Walczak (Olesnica, Poland) won 8-2 over Philly's Kyle Kultenbacher and Tom McAvoy. The Panthers would lose the remaining doubles matches in close bouts, however, would not lose a match in singles competition. The sweep of Philadelphia began with a win by Walczak in number one singles, 6-2, 2-6, 6-3 over Kultenbacher, and would end with a win by Pierre Streat (Brooklyn, N.Y.) over Berys Jarocz, 6-1, 6-3 in the sixth spot.

The Panthers will open their regular season action February 8, 2008, with the Flight Tournament, at a time and place still to be determined.
