Southampton, N.Y. - The Adelphi men's tennis team blanked Southampton yesterday 9-0 to pick up their first NYCAC win of the season. With the win the Panthers improved to 5-4 overall and 1-2 in conference play, while Southampton dropped to 0-5 overall and 0-4 in NYCAC matches.

The Panthers swept every match in straight sets, including number one and two doubles by the score of 8-1. Abhijeet Muzumdar (Bellerose, N.Y.), Greg Fujii (Queens, N.Y.) and Manuel Castro (Kew Gardens, N.Y.) were all double winners for Adelphi.

Adelphi returns to action Thursday, April 8th when they play host to visiting Concordia College at 3:00 pm.
