Garden City, N.Y. - The Adelphi men's tennis team took on both Dowling College and Franklin Pierce over the weekend. The Panthers fell to Dowling 8-1 but rebounded with a strong effort against Franklin Pierce, falling 3-6. With the losses Adelphi falls to 1-4 overall and 1-3 in the NYCAC.

Adelphi never really got going against Dowling, winning just one of nine matches. But the Panthers picked up wins at both the first and second flight doubles and the first flight singles against Franklin Pierce before falling 3-6.

The Panthers return to action on Monday, April 4 when they travel to Newark, New Jersey to take on NJIT at 5:00 pm.
