March 19, 2009 Orlando, FL - In the final match of the Adelphi Men's Tennis spring break trip in Florida, the Panthers were defeated 9-0 by the Tars of Rollins College. With the loss the Racketmen drop to 4-2, and end up 3-2 in their time in the Sunshine State. Sebastian Nieves highlighted the match by pushing 27th ranked Neil Clausen to three sets, final being beat 4-6, 6-0, 10-2 in number two singles. The Panthers will resume play when they travel to Sparkill, New York on March 23, to take on St. Thomas Aquinas College. First serve is at 3:00 p.m. |
