Orlando, FL - Adelphi Men's tennis roared to a 2-1 advantage in doubles against the Warriors of Merrimack College, and closed the match 6-3, in a sneak preview of Northeast-10 tennis action yet to come when Adelphi makes the move in 2009-2010. With the win, the Panthers improve to 4-1 on the season and 3-1 in the Sunshine State tour.

Tomasz Walczak and Alex Molotsky in penthouse doubles set the tone early with an 8-2 win over Max Eppley and John Seaward of Merrimack. Anton Voynov and Sebastian Nieves would follow their example also defeating their opponents 8-2 to give the Panthers a 2-1 advantages coming into singles.

Singles positions one through four would all see wins for the Brown and Gold, beginning with Walczak up front. Nieves took over the second spot for a 6-2, 6-3 win over Seaward, which brings his winning streak to a perfect five games. Molotsky and Voynov continued the charge against the Warriors with victories over Adam Wilding and Eppley respectfully.

The Racketmen are back in action when they concluded their Florida Tour against Rollins College on March 19 first serve is scheduled for 10:00 a.m.
