Effective November, 2003, former tennis standout and Adelphi alum Will Klocke has been named the interim head coach of the men and women's tennis teams at Adelphi.

A 2002 graduate from Adelphi where he earned a Bachelor's in Communications, Klocke also obtained a master's degree in Sports Management in 2003. He played tennis for Adelphi from 2001-2003 and helped guide the Panthers to their first ever NCAA tournament birth in 2003.

A transfer from Fordham University, Klocke played #1 Singles and # 1 Doubles for Division I Fordham and also served as captain of the Men's Tennis team as well as the Men's Squash team.

Before college, Klocke was a standout tennis player in the east region. He was ranked #1 on Long Island in the Boy's 14, 16, and 18 year age divisions as well as having sectional rankings in the Top 30 consistently. Klocke attended Cold Spring Harbor High School where he played varsity tennis from 7th through 12th grade, played #1 singles for four years, posted over 100 victories, and was inducted into the school's athletic hall of fame.

While a senior in high school, Klocke trained at the Van der Meet Tennis Academy in Hilton Head, South Carolina. There Klocke had wins over a few players that currently play on the ATP Tour. Klocke has also taught tennis to children and adults for the past eight years at indoor clubs, country clubs, and private homes throughout Long Island.

Klocke currently resides in Cold Spring Harbor, NY.
