Garden City, N.Y. - Adelphi University freshman Issa Tall (Mulhouse, France) and junior Thorne Holder (Port of Spain, Trinidad) were named Atlantic Soccer Conference (ASC) Player of the Week and Goalkeeper of the Week as announced by the conference office on October 5. This is the second straight honor of the season for Tall, and the third ASC award for Holder.

Tall, scored three goals in a pair of games last week. He scored one goal in Adelphi's 3-0 win over St. Peter's last Wednesday and scored two goals in the Panthers' 3-0 win over Manhattan on Saturday, including the game winner.

Holder, played all 180 minutes of both of Adelphi's 3-0 wins last week. He posted a pair of shutouts and had eight saves on the week, including five stops against St. Peter's.

Adelphi returns to action on Wednesday, October 7 when they travel to Princeton, New Jersey for a 6:00 pm meeting with Princeton.
