Billy Hole is entering his second season as an assistant coach with the Adelphi University men's soccer program. Hole was a three-year letter winner while at St. John's, appearing in 48 games and starting 43, including 23 as a senior. In three year's with the Red Storm Hole helped the Johnnies to a combined record of 37-18-11 and three NCAA appearances, advancing as far as the round of 16 in 2005 and 2006 and making a trip to the Elite 8 in 2004. Individual honors also came Hole's way as a senior, earning Big East Tournament Defensive MVP honors, while helping St. John's to a Big East Championship. He was also named Big East Defensive Player of the Week on three occasions in 2007. Hole also brings strong coaching experience to the Adelphi sidelines, working with Chaminade High School in 2007 and he continues to work with the Storm Soccer Academy. Hole, who earned his degree from St. John's in 2007, currently resides in Fresh Meadows, New York. |
