Ege, Corben Earn USILA All-America Honors

Garden City, N.Y. - Adelphi University senior Jesse Corben (Merrick, N.Y.) and junior Edward Ege received first-team All-America honors as announced by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA). This is the first selection for both Corben and Ege.

Corben, a first-team ECC honoree, led the Panthers in both ground balls (94) and face-off win percentage (.716), winning 189 of 264 face-offs he took. Corben's 94 ground balls puts him second on the single season list and the senior finishes his career 186 ground balls, good enough for third all-time. Corben also led the nation in face-off win percentage.

Ege, the ECC Player of the Year and a first-team ECC selection, led the Panthers with 22 goals and 52 assists for 74 points over 12 games including an 8-29-37 mark in ECC play. Ege also finished as the ECC leader in points per game (6.17) and assists per game (4.33) average. In addition Ege led the nation in points per game and assists per game.

The Panthers posted a record of 7-5 overall, and 3-3 in ECC play.
