Garden City, N.Y. - Senior Wes Green (Adelaide, Australia) was honored as an ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District selection as announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), May 25. Green, an attackman, received second-team honors.

Green just completed one of the finest seasons by an Adelphi lacrosse player in recent memory, setting new school records for single season goals scored (62) and for most Division II career goals with 149. He also led the team in goals and points (79), earning New York Collegiate Athletic Conference (NYCAC) Player of The Year and first-team all-conference honors.

A finance major, Green also got it done in the classroom, posting a grade point average of 3.36, while helping the Panthers to a final record of 8-5 and a national ranking of sixth.
