Garden City, N.Y. - Adelphi University men's lacrosse players Devin Schneiderbauer (Pepperell, MA) and Ian Kuchta (Norwalk, CT) have been named East Coast Conference (ECC) Goalkeeper of the Week and Player of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday, April 21. This is the first time this season that both Schneiderbauer and Kuchta have been honored by the conference.

Schneiderbauer made 16 stops in goal for the Panthers, helping Adelphi to a 13-8 win over Dowling College on April 19. He made 11 stops in the second half and collected five ground balls.\

Kuchta was critical in Adelphi's victory over fourth ranked Dowling as he led all players with six goals. He scored three of Adelphi's first four goals and three of the Panthers last six.

Adelphi returns to action on Wednesday, April 30 when they play host to Dominican at 12:00 pm on the campus of Hofstra University.
