Men's Lacrosse Predicted to Finish Fourth in ECC Play

Manhattan, N.Y. - 2006 National Runner-up Dowling College has been selected to claim first place in the 2007 East Coast Conference Men's Lacrosse race, according to the preseason poll of ECC coaches. Adelphi was selected to finish fourth, behind Dowling, Mercyhurst and NYIT. Molloy is predicted to finish fifth, rounding out the top five.

In 2006 the Panthers placed fifth in the ECC with a mark of 1-4. The Panthers also posted an overall record of 8-5 and closed out the season ranked sixth in the nation by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA).

Adelphi has started 2007 with a 6-5 win over ninth ranked Bryant and travel to Syracuse, New York for a March 3 match-up with #1 LeMoyne.
