Orlando, FL - The Panthers rounded out their opening weekend with a 22-9 victory over the University of Central Florida Knights on Sunday, February 22 in Orlando, Florida.

After the Panthers netted the first two goals of the contest the Knights pulled to within one goal before Adelphi would go on a scoring tear en route to a 22-9 final score.

Adelphi was paced by senior attackman Eddie Ege's eight-point effort (3G, 5A). Helping Ege carry the scoring load, with four points was junior attacker Ian Kuchta (4G) and newcomer Kevin Kemp (2G, 2A).

Junior goaltender Zach Bates stood in cage for the first half before giving way to juniors Devin Scheiderbauer and Sean Quinlan in the third and fourth quarters, respectively.

The Panthers open up their home schedule this Friday, February 27 when they host the Tigers of Rochester Institute of Technology at 4 pm on Competition Field.
