Garden City, N.Y. - Adelphi University will broadcast all of its home basketball games live via the web as announced by Director of Athletics Robert E. Hartwell. Fans will be able to access video and audio webstreaming free of charge.

"We were able to offer this service to our fans last year and it was a big hit," Hartwell stated. "We are looking forward to showcasing our teams in the new Center for Recreation and Sports."

All of the games will be hosted through Penn Atlantic in conjunction with the East Coast Conference. Fans can go to Penn Atlantic to access the games. In game play-by-play will be done by Joel Blumberg, who has covered the Panthers for the past five years.

The Panthers kick off the 2008-09 tomorrow in their new arena. The women will host Merrimack College at 1:00 p.m., followed by the men at 7:00 p.m.
