Garden City, N.Y. - The Adelphi University men's basketball team hosted members of the Hempstead P.A.L. in a clinic in late October. The children ranged in age from 8-14 years. The purpose of the clinic was not only to teach various basketball skills, but to also provide positive role models with regards to staying in school and preparing for college.

The clinic took place in October. The team put the children through various drills. Practicing free throws.

Shooting techniques. After the clinic, everyone enjoyed pizza and soda. Approximately 20 children ranging from 8-14 participated.
