Harrison, N.Y. - Senior guard Kimani Blaize (Brooklyn, N.Y.) was named East Coast Conference Co-Player of The Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday, January 9. Blaize shared his first honor of the season with Bridgeport's Ernest Daney.

Blaize scored 24 points to help the Panthers to a 66-62 win over visiting Philadelphia University on Saturday, January 6. His 24 points, including 10-13 from the foul line, were crucial in picking up the win. Blaize also pulled down eight rebounds and added three assists and two blocks.

The Panthers return to action on Wednesday, January 10 when they play host to visiting New Haven.
