Dominik Savino brings over 25 years of coaching experience of the Adelphi men's basketball coaching staff. He has also orgainzed tournaments and a coaching academy.

In all Savino has coached 27 years of high school basketball and was the associate head coach at Dowling College during the 2205-06 season. As a coach he has guided his teams to five league titles, three county titles and one Long Island Championship.

He has also received numerous accolades including, being named Coach of the Year five times and earning Long Island Coach of the Year in 1991. He also captured An Eastern New York Championship in 1987 and helped Sachem to two Class A Final Four's.

Savino earned a BS from Southern Connecticut State University and a MALS degree from Stony Brook. He currently teaches coaching courses at the Sachem Teaching Center and is an adjunct professor at Dowling College.

Savino resides in Miller Place, New York.
