Rindge, NH - The Adelphi baseball team has received their first NCAA Division II Regional bid in six years and been honored with the #3 seed. The Panthers (25-17) will face #2 Southern Connecticut State University (28-12) in the first round. All Northeast Regional games will be webcast through Franklin Pierce College's athletic website.

Adelphi leads the all-time series 5-2-1 against their first round opponent Southern Connecticut State (28-12). The last time these two teams met was in 1978, with Adelphi prevailing 13-9.

Top-seeded Franklin Pierce (30-12) will face #4 UMASS-Lowell (28-17) in the second game of the double elimination tournament.
