Garden City, N.Y. - The Adelphi baseball team is currently ranked 24th in the nation by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) in the national poll released on April 24. This is the first time that Adelphi has achieved a national ranking under the guidance of head coach Dom Scala.

Adelphi (25-10) joins Franklin Pierce (33-6) as the only other team from the Northeast Region in the national poll, as Franklin Pierce checks in at number eight. The Panthers recent 12-game win streak has also vaulted them to number two in the NCBWA regional poll.

The Panthers has outscored their opponents 300-195 this season and will bring that production back to the diamond on Wednesday, April 25 when they play host to Dowling College at 3:30 pm.
