Garden City, N.Y. - Adelphi University baseball player Rob Paccione (Bayside, N.Y.) has been named East Coast Conference (ECC) Player of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday, March 31. This is the first time this season that Paccione has been honored by the conference.

Paccione Hit .526 over a six-game week (10-19) and slugged .684, helping the Panthers to wins over conference opponents Concordia and Dowling. He also stole four bases, picked up 10 hits, scored two runs and drove in two, picking up a double and a triple on the week.

Baseball returns to action on Tuesday, April 1 when they play host to Molloy College at 3:30 pm on William J. Bonomo Memorial Field.
