Garden City, N.Y. - Senior Mike Myers is the East Coast Conference (ECC) Pitcher of The Week as announced by the conference office on Monday, March 26. This is the first honor this season for Myers and for Adelphi.

Myers pitched a three-hit, complete game in the second game of a double header against Mercy College on Saturday, March 24. In seven innings of work, Myers struck out seven, allowing just three hits and giving up just three walks to collect the 7-1 win.

The win raises Myers record to 2-0 on the season with a 2.95 earned run average. In 21.1 innings pitched this season, he has only allowed 14 hits while striking out 22 batters. For his efforts Myers was named ECC Pitcher of The Week.

Adelphi's returns to action on Wednesday, March 28 when they host Queens College at 3:30 pm.
