DiDomenico Goes Yard, Wins It For The Panthers In The Eighth

 
 

 
Anthony DiDomenico hit his first ever home run for Adelphi, and silenced the Molloy College Lions with his two-run blast
 

Senior Anthony DiDomenico blasted his first ever Adelphi home run into the atrium of the library in the bottom of the eighth to give Adelphi the 13-12 win over their nemisis Molloy College. He went 2-5 at the plate with two RBI's.

The Panthers jumped out to an early lead 4-1 lead, Ricky Nicholson, and Tom Cali drove back to back triples into the gaps for an RBI a peice. Matt DeWitt had his break out game as he went 3-4 with an RBI.

Kenneth Gates came in for Chris Zinkiewicz in the seventh and earned the win for the panthers. Gates moves to 2-2 on the year. Mike Thompson came in in the 9th and shut Molloy down retiring 3 of the 4 batters that he faced.

Adelphi improves to 6-27 on the season.
